For the second year in a row, we were asked to provide tents for the annual Holiday Express fundraiser, held on the beach in front of McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch. We set up the big 66 x 126 along with a 46 x 125 and a 32 round.

The people at Skyline Tent Company are always fun to be around. We like them so much that sometimes we even bring them to work with us.

We thank Lori and her team at Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for allowing us – and our friends – to be a part of their wonderful Annual Gala fundraiser at the Stillwell Stables in Colts Neck, New Jersey.

Earlier this season we set up the big 66 x 106 at the Sands Casino for Zany Umbrella Circus in Bethlehem, PA.

Winds make some things a little more complex…

Slag: (n.) The vitreous byproduct of smelting ore. Not a problem for the 90-lb. air hammer. Don’t clench your jaw or you’ll crack your teeth. Jeez.

Everything is relative…the old factory makes one of our largest tents look small.

Even the Sperry Tents Dream Team - Whiskers, Tragnitz & Grande - needed to break for lunch on this project.

We had a great time working with Kris and Randy from EventFX. Jennafer and Stephanie from JR Global Events know how to get the job done right. Well done guys. We look forward to working with these two companies again.

The end result was fantastic, of course.

The lion’s share of our photos revolves around weddings, but we install tents for a wide range of events. Here is one particularly unique example: the Lower Brandywine Storytelling Festival in Wilmington, Delaware. Who knew?!

We’ve always had a thing for nurses, and that’s why we were ecstatic to once again participate in the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey‘s 2011 Show House Gala. Special thanks to Darryn Murphy and Craig Kiely, the event design and floral decor specialists who masterminded this spectacular tented event. And Ali Delaney of Stella Byrd Events did a knock-out job, as always. We love her, and you probably would too….
