Held at the bride’s family home on the Main Line in PA, this Sunday afternoon wedding was impeccably designed from start to finish, with event design by Beautiful Blooms and planning and styling by Styled Creative. The theme was French bohemian, played out across a color palette of soft purples with green accents.
After a ceremony under a fully floored 24 x 44, guests were welcomed into another fully floored 46 x 65 reception tent. French-inspired music by one of Elan Artists‘ bands started the festivities. The tables were topped by a variety of intriguing items: books, metal birds, bird cages, and flower groupings. And even more creative details can be found throughout the tent, including a vintage chicken coop, white pumpkins, books, crates, moss balls, and furniture.

The highlight of Stephen Starr Events‘ catering talents was a particularly popular table where a chef made crepes to order. Purple candies coordinated with the event’s look.

Special thanks to Sarah DiCicco for sending us these spectacular images. Such a beautiful day and a beautiful shoot!

Wondering what makes a Sperry Tent unique?
For starters, each one is handcrafted at a post-and-beam barn in Mass., which is powered by solar panels. During the summer months, these rooftop panels provide for all of the building’s electrical needs.

Our sailcloth canopies boast geometric support patches and sweeping seams.

Our support poles are solid wood and cut by hand at a historic 1930s sawmill in Mass.

Here’s the Sperry sawmill in action…

Our peaks are topped by 10-ft.-long pennant flags (they always tell us which way the wind is blowing). All pole tent rentals come with standard white pennants but different colors as well as custom logos are available upon request.

An ivory Sperry Tent acts as a serene backdrop for a variety of decor and lighting schemes. When twilight descends, a Sperry Tent starts to glow.

Jennifer Moretti and Eric Wydra’s wedding was held last summer alongside the Manasquan River. The weather was perfect. The impeccable venue and décor make these pictures worth 1,000 words. Fantastic photography, David McShea.
Feel free to stop in at their business – Top Line Appliance Center – with any questions about their outdoor event. Tell them we sent you! Thank you Jennifer and Eric!

This was our favorite 2011 event. The clients were fantastic and Encore Catering was extremely organized and flawless. They always are. This makes our job easier and the clients happier. Win, win!
The weather was perfect and the wedding was the talk of the neighborhood.
To our clients on this event: Thank you for allowing us to be part of your amazing wedding. Best of luck to you both.

We’re excited about this blog post from Tatiana of the Wedding Salon bridal expos. We couldn’t agree more that a Sperry Tent makes for a truly magical night. Thanks Tatiana!

Our client wanted a grand reveal of the reception area after cocktail hour. It was no problem for Sperry Tents NJ. The clients were happy…and so were we!

Every year the owners of Sperry Tents meet on the mountain to discuss ideas on how to better serve our clients. And, have a little fun…
