We wanted a special tent for our daughter’s backyard wedding reception, so we studied website after website. When we arrived at the Sperry Tent website, we knew we’d found the perfect tent. The Sperry Tent was no ordinary tent. Its structure, form, fabric and lighting were unique and beautiful. The overall effect was enchanting and magical. It was a pleasure to work with the Sperry staff. They immediately came to my home to do a site evaluation and followed up quickly with a proposal. They were flexible when I had to enlarge the dance floor and bandstand. The installation was done efficiently by a large, competent crew. Strong winds and heavy rain pummeled the tent the night before the wedding, but in the morning, the sun shone and the tent was in perfect condition for the big day.

As a former event planner for a Monmouth County nonprofit, I had plenty of experience working with tent companies. A few years back I saw a Sperry Tent for the first time at a local fundraiser and was extremely impressed by the quality and attractiveness of their product. Two years later, when I was planning my outdoor wedding, I knew that I wanted a Sperry Tent but didn’t know much about the company.  From my first contact with Tim Daugherty, I was at ease. Tim met me in person at the site, was responsive to my questions, and was flexible with the changes/additions that needed to be made throughout the planning process. Sperry was comparable in price to other companies, but the beauty and quality of the tents was far superior.  I would recommend Sperry to anyone looking for an outstanding product and an all-around great experience.

The guys at Sperry Tents are great! We had to try to fit a large tent in our not-so-large backyard. Tim Daugherty gave us much of his time measuring, listening and advising us to the best plan that would give us the room we needed and most importantly still keep the beautiful look of Sperry Tents. Ultimately some trees and bushes needed trimming and an additional smaller tent was placed next to the large tent, curving around the L-shape of our yard. The end result was stunning! Our daughter’s wedding was beautiful and the tent was a big hit that day too.

Another thing is that when the guys came to take the tent down, they left the yard in perfect order. I would recommend this company to anyone for any event.
